Meet the original, one-of-a-kind, DryerRoll
TM

When doing the laundry, keeping our clothes looking new while feeling clean and fresh starts with the products we use. Today’s detergents offer a wide variety of options, but what about your dryer sheet? Have you given any thought to how it works or what chemicals it uses? Those chemicals end up on our laundry, and most of that laundry ends up touching our skin. Have you ever wondered what long-term effects this can have on your clothes, and more importantly your family? We have. And we decided it was time to do something about it.

Diameter: 3"
Length: 10"
The SilverPro DryerRoll is made out of a soft, durable, synthetic fabric that features our proprietary combination of silver and carbon yarns. Design options include a wide variety of colors.

SilverPro is a patented textile innovation that uses highly conductive Silver and Carbon fibers to deliver an entirely new type of static release benefits for fabric care. This one-of-a-kind technology uses no chemicals, fragrances, or additives of any kind, and cannot be scratched off or washed out. Developed to leave laundry soft and static-free when it’s removed from the dryer, the SilverPro DryerRoll even provides natural antimicrobial properties to prevent and eliminate odors.
SilverPro’s proprietary blend of silver and carbon yarns neutralize laundry surface static that is created by a dryer’s tumbling action. The DryerRoll does this by attracting the static charge and dissipating it through grounding or air ionization. This is known as the Triboelectric Effect, which also breaks down the water molecule, allowing clothes to dry faster and come out softer.
-
Patented, reusable static elimination technology lasts for years and reduces waste in landfills;
-
Chemical free, eco-friendly, environmentally safe and budget conscious (eco-friendly dissolving dryer sheets still contain and utilize chemicals);
-
Features yarns containing pure silver and carbon inside a polyester yarn for durability and increased electrical conductivity to eliminate static;
-
Silver yarn breaks down the water molecule, allowing laundry to dry faster and feel softer;
-
The SilverPro DryerRoll can be designed in a number of sizes, shapes and,colors; and
-
Multi-Purpose Dryer Sheet - Silver yarn ions kill bacteria in fabrics to deliver a safe, natural, chemical-free odor suppressant.

How does SilverPro eliminate static-cling without the use of chemicals?
Static electricity forms on a surface when it has accumulated an excess number of electrons. To dissipate the static in your dryer, the silver and carbon fibers in your SilverPro DryerRoll absorb it and convert the static into an electrical current. The DryerRoll then releases small amounts of the current during the drying cycle to discharge the electrons and eliminate the static, without the need for chemicals. This release is called the Corona Effect, and it is executed by the carbon fiber found in each SilverPro DryerPad.
How does SilverPro make my laundry softer without the use of chemicals?
The current (electricity) in your SilverPro DryerRoll, which is collected from the accumulation of static in your laundry, splits the water molecule into two gases, hydrogen and oxygen. This is called Decomposition. This decomposition dissolves minerals through a process known as Chemical Weathering, which breaks down the minerals into individual ions to help soften the water and delivers softer laundry.
How does SilverPro reduce drying time?
When water Decomposition occurs, the real percentage of water in the laundry actually decreases, reducing the required drying time and, conversely, so does your electric bill. Something no other dry sheet or fabric softener can offer.
NOTE: DO NOT use laundry fabric softeners when using the DryerRoll as this will interfere with its performance.

-
The disposable dryer sheet market is as eco-unfriendly as they come, with products covered in chemical coatings and other non-eco-friendly materials;
-
Not only do these chemicals often damage fabric and cause colors to fade, the carcinogens in scented dryer sheets can also be harmful to your health, having been proven to increase the risk for cancer;
-
Additionally, disposable fabric sheets are not reusable or recyclable, which creates waste with each load and adds millions of tons of garbage to our landfills year after year; and
-
Chemical residue from disposable dryer sheets can build up in your filter which results in lint being more difficult to remove - and more lint equals a higher risk of starting a fire.

DRYER SHEET CHEMICALS & THE ASSOCIATED HEALTH ISSUES

-
Benzyl acetate: Linked to pancreatic cancer;
-
Benzyl Alcohol: Upper respiratory tract irritant;
-
Ethanol: On the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list and can cause central nervous system disorders;
-
Limonene: Suspected Gastrointestinal or Liver Toxicant, Immunotoxicity, Kidney Toxicant, Neurotoxicant, Respiratory Toxicant, and Skin or Sense Organ Toxicant;
-
A-Terpineol: Can cause respiratory problems, including fatal edema, and central nervous system damage; Ethyl Acetate: A narcotic on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list;
-
Camphor: Causes central nervous system disorders;
-
Chloroform: Neurotoxic, anesthetic and carcinogenic;
-
Linalool: A narcotic that causes central nervous system disorders;
-
Pentane: A chemical known to be harmful if inhaled;
-
Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QACs or “quats”): reduce static in your clothes but can cause skin and respiratory irritation. In addition, the widespread use of quats is linked to the rise in antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

THE MARKET, CHEMICALS, ENVIRONMENT & MORE...
Simply put, regardless of what a brand advertises, the very high majority of fabric softeners on the market today are bad for your laundry and skin. Here are some interesting things to consider...
-
The chemicals today’s fabric softeners contain leave a thin, waxy film on your clothes, bedding, and towels, which, over time, prevents your laundry from actually getting clean.
-
The more you wash your garments with a fabric softener, the more this waxy film builds up, preventing water and detergent from penetrating the fabrics they are supposed to be cleaning. As a result, dirt and odors stay trapped in your clothes, bedding, and towels.
-
Have you ever wondered why your bath towels don’t seem to absorb much water? This is difficult for them to do when they are coated with a chemical film that prevents it. Another example of this is undergarments, which are designed to draw sweat away from your body to keep you cool and comfortable. Again, tough to do when they have a chemical coating on them.
-
In addition to leaving residue on your clothes, fabric softeners also leave a waxy film on the insides of washing machines and dryers, which isn’t good for the machines. The residue on the machines also transfers onto your laundry. So even if you don’t use fabric softener in a particular load (activewear, for instance), it can and usually does get on everything you wash.
-
Studies show that chemicals contained in liquid fabric softeners make fabrics more flammable...Not something anyone wants.
